Focht, SVP � Credit/Portfolio Administration Brief Description of Role: The Customer Service Representative 2 is responsible for addressing the needs of internal and external customers via incoming calls or online, e-mail or verbal requests for basic or detailed information about customer loan or lease accounts. Such requests would include payoff calculations and telephone or online payments. The Customer Service Representative 2 reports to the Customer Service Manager. Key Accountabilities for this Role 1. Provide requested account information in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. 2. Routing of requests on legal or collection accounts to the proper person or department. 3. Provide account payoff information accurately and in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. 4. Accept and enter payments made via telephone or online in accordance with DFS policies and procedures. 5. Assist the Insurance Compliance Specialist by contacting agents and customers for proof of insurance on designated contracts. 6. Provide accurate and reliable reporting to the Customer Service Manager. 7. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. 8. Travel as directed to conduct on-site audits, collateral review and payment collections. Key Accountabilities for this Role 1) Enforces all lease, loan and guaranty provisions in a timely and professional manner. 2) Collect past due accounts as assigned in accordance to established procedures. 3) Arrange for repossession of equipment. 4) Comply with all company policies and procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. 5) Responsible for initial risk analysis in preparation for reserve reporting and audit readiness. 6) Loan compliance notification review of non-performing loans. 7) Asset recovery notifications to include timely lien search review and notices of sale. 8) Provide all borrowers and lessees with superior customer service. 9) Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Knowledge, Experience, Education needed to fill role: 1) Bachelor degree and/or related experience. 2) Five years experience in the area of collections (commercial preferred) 3) Strong communication skills. Includes communicating with others in a professional and helpful manner while building credibility and rapport. 4) Strong problem solving skills. Includes taking action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of the issues. 5) Strong negotiation skills. 6) Supervisor experience required. 7) Good computer skills and knowledge, includes appropriate MS Office products.
